They offer a total of nine wedding services, and engaged couples are able to tailor their custom packages to include exactly what they need, at a price-point that is right for them. This particular property also happens to be the flagship hotel of CSM Corporation; a company that acquires, develops, and renovates commercial, lodging, and residential real estate. They own properties around the country, and their headquarters happens to be across the street from the Depot in Minneapolis. While working for the Renaissance Hotel, I became a key player in implementing the new brand standards being rolled out by Marriott. On October 12th, 2015, after 21 months of renovations, the Crowne Plaza was finally able to rebrand to InterContinental. This is the first, and only, InterContinental Hotel in Minnesota. My time at the Crowne Plaza was spent deepening my customer service skills, as well as my multi-tasking capabilities. In my role as Front Office Supervisor, I was frequently the evening Manager On Duty. This meant I was not only responsible for goings-on at the front desk, but also in the bar, restaurant, room service, valet, housekeeping, and banquets. I worked there from ages 15-18. First, as a WaterPark Guest Service Agent, until I became the WaterPark Guest Service Supervisor at 17.
